A magnificent night to remember
Last night, it was one of those magical ones you rarely see in your life. This was thanks to Johnny Marr who gave a magnificent concert.
It was at the Paper Tiger venue in San Antonio, TX where we all experienced a show full of great songs, great vibe and sublime performance.
The English singer and songwriter who is also known from being the guitarist and co-songwriter of disappeared band The Smiths, brought a list of old and new songs from his solo career as well as bands he has collaborated in the past and had a crowd singing the whole night. His currently promoting his new album “Fever Dreams PTS. 1-4” and touring with “The Killers”
A great performance!
Marr’s voice was impeccable and the way he plays the guitar, besides his remarkable style, was pure perfection.
The crowd was a mix of young and older people, but they all shared the same good taste for Marr’s songs who continuously interacted with his fans. “Do you have any requests tonight?” he asked to a surprised venue who couldn’t respond anything. “OK, this is for all of you…” and “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out” started.
The only bad thing we can comment about the concert was the people with their phones up all night, literally the whole night, blocking the people behind them.
