Brandon Boyd and gang brought their great music to San Antonio!
Despite the chilly weather in San Antonio, fans packed the Tech Port Center for a sold-out show by alternative rock band Incubus. The band, which has been entertaining fans for over two decades, lived up to expectations with their captivating music.
With lead singer Brandon Boyd, guitarist Mike Einziger, drummer Jose Pasillas, and DJ Chris Kilmore, Incubus has a unique blend of rock, alternative, and funk that has earned them a devoted following.
Unfortunately, bassist Ben Kenney was unable to play with the band due to a recent medical procedure. However, the band found a replacement in good friend Tal Wilkenfeld, who joined them for their remaining shows in January. The excitement in the air was palpable as fans arrived at the venue, eagerly anticipating the performance.
A GREAT BAND WITH GREAT MUSIC
As the lights went down, the crowd erupted in cheers and Incubus took the stage. Opening with a powerful performance that set the tone for the rest of the night. The crowd sang along to every song, and the energy in the room was electric.
Lead singer Brandon Boyd’s captivating vocals and interaction with the audience made for an unforgettable experience. There was no need for any fancy pyrotechnics – Boyd’s vocals alone were enough to keep the crowd on their feet, singing and dancing along.
The audience showed their love and appreciation for the band.

Guitarist Mike Einziger also took an opportunity for a guitar solo and blew the crowd away with his incredible guitar skills.
Full display throughout the night, with each member showcasing their talents, including Tal Wilkenfeld, who seamlessly fit in with the band. The guitarist and bassist provided a solid foundation for the songs, while the drummer kept the beat driving. The sound was crystal clear, and the stage setup was impressive, with a mix of lights, smoke, and pyrotechnics adding to the overall experience.
The highlight of the show was when the band performed their hit single “Drive,” which had the entire crowd singing at the top of their lungs. It was a truly memorable moment, and it was clear that everyone in the room was having a great time.
