Start getting ready for live music on the beach!

We are just 2 months away from the 2023 edition of Hangout Music Festival that returns this May for another great year in Gulf Shores, Alabama!

The white-sand beaches will welcome Grammy award-winning artists, along with local battle of the band’s winners.

Hangout is known for bringing incredible acts to the south, and with names like Calvin Harris, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Lil Nas X, this year is no exception.

Fans seem to be ecstatic about this lineup, so here are a few sets you won’t want to miss.

PARAMORE

After a 6-year hiatus, Paramore just released their newest album, “This Is Why” – a new and triumphant sound for the group. But don’t worry, they’re not throwing away the past. Their hand-picked setlist is a flawless mix of classic hits and new releases – perfect for both O.G. fans and new. They’ll be playing the main stage just days before kicking off their North American tour, so make sure to catch them before they hit the road!

SKRILLEX

Another big return for 2023, Skrillex is back! After nearly a decade, Dubstep royalty Skrillex dropped TWO albums this February – “Quest For Fire” and “Don’t Get Too Close”. When teasing “Rumble” last July, we knew the king was back, and ready to change the world of EDM yet again. Needless to say, we’re ecstatic to see Skrillex take the main stage at Hangout again after 8 years!

SZA

Grammy-award winning artist, SZA, will be wrapping up her arena tour and coming straight to the beach this year, and we could not be more excited! The alternative R&B singer released her most recent album, “SOS”, this past December, and it became the second longest-charting R&B album by a woman in the history of the US Billboard 200. This will be her first Hangout Fest, but we’re certain this won’t be her last.

NOAH KAHAN

With songs like “Stick Season” and “Northern Attitude”, folk-infused pop singer Noah Kahan took social media by storm. Intense lyrics paired with his alpine voice create a sense of longing for a place we’ve never been. His nostalgic melodies resonate far beyond his home in New England, and we can’t wait to hear them on the beach.

THE BACKSEAT LOVERS

The Utah-based alternative rock band, The Backseat Lovers, blew up faster than they could ever imagine. With their first album racking up hundreds of millions of streams, they were quickly selling out venues across the globe. They go on a North American tour this April, so make sure to catch a show – you’ll feel like you’re in a garage watching your best friends jam out.

SAID THE SKY

No matter what kind of music you listen to, you’ll appreciate Said The Sky. Colorado-native Trevor Christensen has played various instruments since the age of eight, and has since shifted EDM music as we know it. Moving basslines and soaring melodies take you on an emotional experience through music. He’s collaborated with many big names, including Alison Wonderland, who will also be at Hangout this year. Fingers crossed for a crossover set!
