An incredible first day with so many surprises!
Yesterday, we attended the first day of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2023 Weekend 2, and my dear friends, it was a day full of music, dance, fun and surprises. I’m going to share some of the most memorable moments I lived in this spectacular festival.
The first thing I have to say is that the lineup of artists was impressive. There was something for all tastes and styles. From the reggaeton of Bad Bunny with special guest Grupo Frontera performing their new single together “Un x100to”, who made us perrear with “Titi Me Preguntó”, “Moscow”, “Neverita” and “Si Veo A Tu Mamá”, to the alternative rock of Gorillaz who invited Beck to perform “Possession Island” and Bad Bunny to sing “Tormenta” from Gorillaz’ new album.
I also really enjoyed the music of The Chemical Brothers, who made us vibrate with their classics like “Hey Boy Hey Girl”, “Galvanize” and “Block Rockin’ Beats”. Special mention to Becky G, who as part of her set performed some hits of Selena Quintanilla such as “Como La Flor”, Carcacha”, “Bidi Bidi bom bom” and “Baila Esta Cumbia”. Pusha T, Yungblud, Muna, Angèle, Blondie, and many more who delighted us with their great music and performances.
Another thing I loved was the atmosphere at the festival. There was a positive energy and a contagious joy. People were very lively and looked very well dressed. There were from the typical bohemian and hippie outfits to the most original and creative.
Overall, Coachella 2023 Day 1 was an unforgettable experience and we cannot wait to go back to the field today for Day 2!
