A night of pure rock energy!
What Godsmack just delivered at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, TX was awesome!
As part of their “Vibez Tour: An Intimate Evening With Godsmack“, the band made a stop in the Alamo City to bring us this incredible show that will run for another 31 more dates.
The guest of the night was songwriter and artist from Denmark, Bastian Da Cruz who brought his blend of pop and indie-pop music to warm the engines of this evening.
The magic of the venue and the captivating music of both bands was the perfect mix to make it a great night and we were there to bring you some images of their shows and what we experienced.
BASTIAN DA CRUZ
The evening started with the performance of Bastian Da Cruz at 8:00 PM.
His show was a captivating display of guitar talent and his voice was soulful, resonating with emotion and depth. His 30-minute shows included songs that were delivered with passion and precision, showcasing Da Cruz’s versatility as an artist.
GODSMACK
It was 9:00 pm sharp when the lights at the venue were turned off and Godsmack appeared on stage!
From the moment they hit the stage, the band’s commanding presence held everyone in thrall. Frontman Sully Erna’s gritty vocals and powerful stage presence were matched only by the thunderous intensity of the band’s instrumentals. Each song was a visceral experience, hitting with the force of a freight train and resonating deep in the bones.
The show started with Pink Floyd’s cover “Time” involving everyone in the audience in a surreal trip. Followed by “Love-Hate-Sex-Pain” and one of their biggest hits “Voodoo” which had everyone standing and singing along with the band.
Each song was a visceral experience, hitting with the force of a freight train and resonating deep in the bones and every track was delivered with passion and precision, showcasing Godsmack’s undeniable talent and enduring relevance in the rock world.
25 years of a successful career
The band formed with Sully Erna, Robbie Merrill, Tony Rombola, and Shannon Larkinhas is celebrating 25 years of a great journey and were very happy to be playing in San Antonio and especially at the Majestic Theatre, which in the words of singer Sully Erna it is one of the best venues they have ever played during their long career.
The atmosphere was electric, with the crowd feeding off the band’s energy and giving it right back tenfold. Small mosh pits erupted, fists pumped, and voices roared as fans lost themselves in the music.
But beyond the sheer intensity, what truly set Godsmack’s show apart was the sense of camaraderie and connection between band and audience. Erna’s heartfelt interactions with the crowd made everyone feel like part of the family, united by their love of rock and roll.
In the end, Godsmack delivered a show that was not just a concert, but a full-blown rock spectacle. It was a night of unforgettable music and pure, unadulterated fun that left everyone buzzing with excitement long after the final chord had faded into the night.
