Latin American legendary bands in one place!
The first edition of Bésame Mucho Festival at the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin, Texas, was a celebration of music, culture, and community that left attendees spellbound. From the moment the gates opened, the festival atmosphere buzzed with excitement and anticipation. With a diverse lineup of artists spanning various genres, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The festival grounds were alive with vibrant colors, delicious food vendors, and an array of interactive experiences that immersed attendees in the rich tapestry of Latin American culture. From Mexican Catrinas sculptures to mural paintings, every corner of the festival offered a new delight to discover.
THE FESTIVAL
The musical performances were the highlight of the event, with each artist delivering passionate and soul-stirring performances that resonated with the audience. From the infectious rhythms of salsa, norteño and cumbia to the soulful melodies of bolero and mariachi, or from the danceable pop music to the energy of the rock bands, the music transported attendees to distant lands and stirred their hearts with emotion.
Whether it was dancing to the lively beats or swaying to the heartfelt ballads, the music brought people together in joyous celebration.
For more than 12 hours, the audience enjoyed music, food and the best vibe wherever you walked. Also, the weather was so kind to everyone giving us a sunny day with a cold breeze during the night, it was just perfect!
THE STAGES AT BÉSAME MUCHO FEST
There were 4 stages distributed among the field for everyone’s music taste.
Whether you were planning on dancing to the music at Las Clasicas Stage or Beso Stage, singing the catchy pop songs at Te Gusta El Pop? stage or having a more intense time with the energy of the Rockero Stage, the fun was everywhere.
LAS CLASICAS STAGE
LAS CLASICAS STAGE included bands such as Los Tigres Del Norte, Grupo Frontera, Bronco, Los Tucanes De Tijuana, Ramón Ayala, Lalo Mora, among others. We were able to catch some great acts at this stage.
Los Tigres Del Norte, from the moment they stepped on stage, the atmosphere was charged with excitement, as fans eagerly awaited their iconic songs.
With songs such as “Camioneta Gris”, “Jefe De Jefes”, “La Reyna Del Sur” and “Eres Mi Buena Suerte” they had the crowd singing along with passion and nostalgia. Their stage presence was unmatched, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who witnessed their unforgettable performance.
Grupo Frontera was without a doubt a highlight of the night, stirring the crowd with their infectious rhythms and lively energy. From the first note, Grupo Frontera had everyone on their feet, dancing and singing along to their beloved hits.
They finished their presentation with the song that put the band on the map “No Se Va.”
Other great bands that had amazing performances were Bronco, Los Tucanes De Tijuana, and Lalo Mora who brought their classic songs that had the audience at this stage dancing to every song they all played.
BESO STAGE
The BESO STAGE was another spot for people to dance and sing with the fantastic bands who were included here such as Banda MS, Banda El Recodo, La Adictiva, Banda Los Recoditos among others.
Banda MS was the main act at this stage that captivated the audience from start to finish. With their infectious energy and powerful vocals, they had the crowd dancing and singing along to every song.
TE GUSTA EL POP? STAGE
The TE GUSTA EL POP? stage brought so many great acts that it was hard to leave your spot and go to a different stage. Tough decisions to make, but whoever decided to spend the whole day here had a great time for sure.
This stage had incredible artists such as Gloria Trevi, Alejandra Guzman, Reik, Ha*Ash, Fey, Elvis Crespo, Mar Solís and the anticipated return to the stages, Belanova.
Gloria Trevi delivered an incredible show filled with great choreography and infectious energy that kept the crowd dancing and singing during her performance. Trevi sang some her classic songs such as “Dr Psiquiatra”, “Con Los Ojos Cerrados”, “Gloria” and “Todos Me Miran.”
Who definitely had the whole audience dancing and singing was Elvis Crespo. His show was a non-stop party from the moment he took the stage. With his infectious energy and iconic hits, Crespo brought a party to the festival. With songs “Píntame”, “Tu Sonrisa” and his biggest hit “Suavemente”, the American-Puerto Rican singer delivered an awesome show.
Fey’s show was an electrifying journey through pop music nostalgia. With her captivating stage presence and powerful vocals, she transported the audience back to the ’90s. “Me Enamoro De Ti”, “Media Naranja”, “Gatos En El Balcón” and “Azúcar Amargo” were some of the songs she sang to her fans.
And a mesmerizing display of talent and charisma is what Mar Solis delivered at Bésame Mucho Fest. With her soulful vocals and heartfelt ballads, she captivated the audience’s hearts. From intimate moments to upbeat tunes, every song was delivered with passion and emotion. We saw her during the whole festival dancing and singing with the other bands at different stages. She really enjoyed every band.
The much-anticipated return to the stages at Besame Mucho Fest with Belanova was fantastic!
Denisse Guerrero, Edgar Huerta, and Ricardo Arreola of Belanova delivered a mesmerizing performance in front of thousands of fans who anxiously waited to see them finally live!
With hits such as “Me Pregunto”, “Rosa Pastel”, “Por Ti” and “Baila Mi Corazón”, the band had the crowd dancing and singing along with unbridled joy.
An unforgettable night that will resonate in our hearts forever.
ROCKERO STAGE
And finally, the ROCKERO STAGE, which gathered the best of the rock bands in Latin America. They brought the energy and intensity that kept the crowd electrified throughout the night. From the moment they took the stage, the energy was palpable, as each band unleashed their unique sound and passion. With powerhouse vocals, blistering guitar solos, and thunderous drum beats, they captivated the crowd and created an atmosphere of pure exhilaration.
Caifanes, Café Tacvba, Juanes, El Tri, Hombres G, La Ley, Enanitos Verdes, Panteón Rococó, Mago De Oz, among others, delivered incredible performances and the audience didn’t stop jumping and singing with every band.
Beto Cuevas, Mauricio Claveria and Pedro Frugone of La Ley delivered an awesome show with some of their classic songs such as “El Duelo”, “Dia Cero”, “Aquí” and “Prisioneros De La Piel” creating a sense of excitement among the thousands of fans who enjoyed their show!
Same with the Hombres G, who played their international classic songs such as “Te Quiero”, “Venezia”, “Sufre Mamón”, and “Martha Tiene Un Marcapasos.” The crowd created a massive chorus that resonated at the Circuit Of The Americas.
Café Tacvba’s show was a transcendent experience that blended genres, cultures, and emotions seamlessly. With their innovative sound and boundless energy, they took the audience on a musical journey like no other. From rock to folk to electronic, every song was a masterpiece of creativity and expression.
Rubén Albarran, Meme Del Real and brothers Joselo and Quique Rangel, together with Ramiro Del Real and Luis Ledezma, kept the crowd enraptured from start to finish with their dynamic stage presence and infectious enthusiasm.
“Como Te Extraño”, “Las Flores”, “Chilanga Banda”, “Chica Banda” and “El Baile Y El Salón” are some of the great songs they played to the thousands of fans that gathered to see them live.
Caifanes delivered an unforgettable performance at Besame Mucho Fest that transported fans through a sonic journey of nostalgia and passion during their performance.
From the moment Saul Hernandez, Alfonso André, Diego Herrera, Marco Rentería and Rodrigo Baills stepped on stage, the atmosphere was electric, with each song igniting a surge of emotion. “Afuera”, “Viento”, “Perdí Mi Ojo De Venado”, “No Dejes Que” and “Matenme Porque Me Muero.”
An electrifying fusion of passion, talent, and soul is what Juanes brought to the festival. With his charismatic stage presence and infectious energy, he enraptured the audience the moment he appeared on stage in the middle of a euphoric crowd.
From his signature guitar riffs to his heartfelt vocals, every song resonated deeply among the audience.
Who couldn’t resist to songs such as “Es Por Ti”, “Fotografía”, “A Dios Le Pido” and of course, impossible not to sing and dance “La Camisa Negra!” It was a great way to conclude our coverage at the festival.
In the end, the Bésame Mucho Festival was more than just an event; it was a celebration of life, love, and the universal language of music that brought people together in a spirit of joy and camaraderie. It was an experience that would be cherished and remembered for years to come.
