Three great bands under one roof!

Another great show last night at The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, TX with some fantastic acts, STRFKR with special guest Happy Sad Face and Ruth Radelet who brought their indie/alternative music to an excited audience that was thrilled to see them live.

The 3 acts delivered incredible performances with their unique styles and fans loved them. In return, the audience didn’t stop cheering, singing and dancing to their contagious beats.

We couldn’t miss this kind of show so, we grabbed our gear and drove downtown to enjoy it together with hundreds of fans and bring you images and what we experienced during their presentations.

HAPPY SAD FACE

The first act of the night was in charge of Happy Sad Face. Coming directly from Joshua Tree, CA, the artist brought his Psychedelic Pop music to town.

As described by himself, this is “A project built first as the soundtrack to an award winning film,  Happy Sad Face has emerged as a merger in emerging emergents, acting and reacting much like hydrogen molecules in water.

This is a One-Man project where the singer moves around with a mask to beats launched from a drum machine. A unique and interesting project you want to check out.

RUTH RADELET

The second act of the night was the talented actress and musician Ruth Radelet.

Her show was an absolute dream! From the moment she graced the stage, her enchanting presence captivated the audience. Her silky smooth vocals transported us to a world of pure bliss, each note dripping with emotion and soul. Backed by a talented band, Radelet effortlessly navigated through a mesmerizing setlist, blending elements of dream pop, synth-wave, and indie rock into a sonic mosaic that was both haunting and uplifting.

The intimate Aztec Theatre became a sanctuary of musical magic, as Radelet’s ethereal voice filled every corner with warmth and nostalgia leaving the vibe ready for STRFKR.

STRFKR

As soon as the band STRFKR appeared on stage at 9:22 PM, the atmosphere crackled with anticipation inside The Aztec Theatre, and they delivered beyond expectations. Their eclectic mix of synth-pop, indie rock, and electronic beats had the crowd enraptured from start to finish.

The band’s stage presence was electrifying, with each member exuding charisma and talent, including the performers/dancers on stage. Frontman Joshua Hodges commanded the stage with effortless cool, captivating the audience with his dynamic vocals and infectious dance moves. The two dancers on his side added a special vibe to their presentation with some fun movements. The chemistry between band members was palpable, and their seamless musical transitions kept the momentum building throughout the night.
