Epic Night: Five Bands, One Stage

The stage at the Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, TX was set for an electrifying night of rock, metal, and hip-hop. Five talented bands, From Ashes to New, who brought the “Blackout Tour” to town, together with Point North, Ekoh, Phix, and Elijah – took the stage one by one, captivating the audience with their powerful performances and unforgettable energy.

Each band brought their unique and powerful sound and style to a crowd who didn’t want to miss this special occasion of seeing so many bands in one night.

ELIJAH

Elijah opened the night with a powerful set that set the tone for the evening. His commanding vocals and dynamic rock sound captivated the audience right from the start, with standout performances of songs like “Easy To Drown”, “Virus” and his newest single “Hostage.

Elijah’s energy was infectious, and his interaction with the crowd created a welcoming and exhilarating atmosphere. His set was a perfect introduction to the night’s stellar lineup, proving that he is a force to be reckoned with in the rock scene.

PHIX

From Lubbock, Texas, the second act of the night was Phix who delivered a set full of raw energy and captivating performances, bringing his unique style to the forefront. Phix played a mix of hard-hitting tracks and melodic tunes, including “Speak Of The Devil”, War” and “Die For You” which resonated deeply with the audience.

Phix is joined on stage by 11-year-old drummer Roy “Bronx” Sandoval, yes, eleven years old, who impressively plays the drums. The powerful instrumentation and charismatic stage presence created an electrifying atmosphere that kept fans engaged from start to finish. Phix’s performance was a rollercoaster of emotions and sounds, showcasing their range and leaving a lasting impact on the crowd.

EKOH

Ekoh was the third act of the night and he brought a unique twist to the lineup, fusing hip-hop with alternative rock in a way that was both innovative and engaging. His performance was marked by sharp lyrical delivery and an undeniable stage presence, performing tracks such as “Hurt Myself”, “Good Things” and “Goodbye Happiness.”

POINT NORTH

Directly from California, Point North took the stage with a burst of energy, immediately connecting with the crowd through their high-octane pop-punk anthems. Their set included standout tracks like “Dark Days”, “Ghost In My Home” and “Psycho,” each performed with heartfelt emotion and dynamic stage presence. The band’s infectious enthusiasm spread through the venue, prompting sing-alongs and enthusiastic cheers. Point North’s performance was a highlight of the night, showcasing their ability to blend catchy melodies with meaningful lyrics, making a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
