Austin fans Lit Up the Moody Center!
Katy Perry’s fans turned the Moody Center into a dazzling, candy-colored carnival last night as The Lifetimes Tour made its electric stop in Austin.
Known for embracing the pop icon’s vibrant eras — from Teenage Dream bubblegum to Prismglow and Witness glam — the crowd showed up in full Katy-coded couture.
Fans leaned hard into Perry’s signature looks. Think pastel wigs, heart-shaped sunglasses, cupcake bras (yes, they made a comeback), and plenty of pink tulle. One standout outfit featured a DIY version of her iconic whipped-cream bra from the “California Gurls” video
Many fans created mashups of Katy’s different eras. Couples dressed in “Left Shark” and “Right Shark” onesies earned plenty of smiles, and LGBTQ+ flags, rainbow capes, and glitter beards turned the show into a Pride pre-party.
Austin fans didn’t just show up — they performed. It was clear that Katy Perry’s influence on pop culture fashion remains bold, campy, and joyfully rebellious. If Perry was the ringmaster of the night, her fans were the radiant circus.
