Lollapalooza 2025 wrapped up its four-day celebration of sound and culture with a sun-soaked Sunday that felt like a love letter to Chicago summers. Grant Park buzzed with a relaxed but electric energy—fans sprawled on the grass with cold drinks in hand, while the diehards pressed against barricades, ready to squeeze every last note out of the final day.

The weather was flawless—warm sunshine bathing the skyline, a soft breeze cutting through the heat, and the golden hour turning the park into a postcard of festival perfection. Sunday’s lineup mirrored that vibe: a global journey through genres that bounced from K-pop joyrides to soulful R&B, funky indie-pop, nostalgic pop culture throwbacks, and a headlining hip-hop victory lap to close it all out.

What made Day 4 special wasn’t just the music—it was the collective exhale of the crowd. Friends danced in circles, strangers traded high-fives, and every cheer felt like a celebration of the summer we wait all year for. By the time the lights dimmed, Lollapalooza 2025 had offered one final reminder: this isn’t just a festival, it’s a living, breathing Chicago tradition, built on connection, rhythm, and joy.

BOYNEXTDOOR

BoyNextDoor opened Day 4 with a burst of K-pop sunshine that immediately set the Lakeshore Stage alive. The six-member group radiated youthful energy and effortless charm, transforming the grassy field into a global dance party. Their set kicked off with the upbeat “I Feel Good,” instantly pulling early festivalgoers to their feet. The song “Nice Guy” was followed, and a frantic crowd was clapping, jumping, and swaying in sync with the group’s playful choreography.

One of the highlights came with “Earth, Wind & Fire,” which turned the Chicago afternoon into a full-on celebration—fans waving their arms and singing along, while even casual passersby stopped to watch the magic unfold.

With polished vocals and boundless stage presence, BoyNextDoor proved they’re more than rising stars—they’re festival naturals. Their opening set felt like a perfect spark for the last day of Lolla, leaving everyone grinning and ready for more.

KATSEYE

Katseye turned the T-Mobile Stage into a global pop spectacle, making Lollapalooza history in the process. Drawing an estimated 85,000 fans on-site—the largest audience ever for an early daytime set—plus another 100,000 streaming online, the international girl group proved their reach is nothing short of monumental.

The six members of this incredible girl group, Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, opened with the live debut of “Gameboy,” a slick, high-energy performance that sent the massive crowd into a frenzy. Midway through, the irresistibly catchy “Touch” became a sing-along anthem, as hands swayed in unison.

By the time Katseye closed with their signature hit “Gnarly,” the atmosphere was pure festival euphoria—a perfect mix of K-pop precision and stadium-sized charisma. Even from the far edges of the field, the energy was undeniable, and online fans shared in the excitement in real-time.

Katseye didn’t just play Lolla; they etched their name into its history, delivering a performance that felt like a global pop event.

Opening with fan favorite All For Me,” she set a soulful, intimate tone, her voice carrying effortlessly over the warm Chicago breeze. Songs like Bout Mine” and Always N Forever” had fans singing softly along, phones held aloft in a gentle constellation.

Unlike the high-octane K-pop sets before her, Mariah’s magic was in the stillness she created—a pocket of reflective calm where the festival felt personal and cinematic. Each note landed like a confession, and as she closed with Burning Blue”, the crowd erupted in cheers of gratitude, fully immersed in her soulful storytelling.

REMI WOLF

If Mariah The Scientist gave the crowd a dreamy breather, Remi Wolf came to set the lawn on fire with her funky, technicolor chaos. Their set thrived on atmosphere over spectacle, painting the skyline with emotional colors and giving Day 4 a lush, reflective interlude. By the time The Marías closed with “Cariño,” the audience felt like they’d been wrapped in a warm sonic embrace, perfectly primed for the final bursts of energy still to come.

REBECCA BLACK

A$AP Rocky closed Lollapalooza 2025 with a jaw-dropping spectacle that felt like the blockbuster finale of a four-day cinematic experience. As the lights dimmed and the crowd’s anticipation peaked, a helicopter hung over the Bud Light Stage, Rocky’s voice slicing through the night sky to kick off his set. Opening with “Grim Freestyle” from inside the chopper, he launched a gravity-defying performance that sent the massive crowd into pure pandemonium.

Once he descended to the stage, Rocky launched into a high-octane set stacked with hits like “Praise the Lord (Da Shine)” and “L$D”, commanding every inch of the space with his magnetic stage presence. Flames shot skyward, basslines rattled the park, and the sea of fans—tens of thousands strong—moved as one pulsing wave.

Between bangers, Rocky took a moment to thank Chicago and salute the Lolla crowd. By the time he closed with Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2” under a firework-lit sky, the energy was pure euphoria, an explosion of music, spectacle, and city pride.
