La Semana Alegre Was a Fashion Mix!
Over two days at La Semana Alegre in Hemisfair Park in San Antonio, TX, the music brought people together, but the outfits gave the festival its personality. With acts like A Flock of Seagulls, Men Without Hats, Tommy Tutone, Bow Wow Wow, Ghostland Observatory, and La Santa Cecilia on stage, you could feel a mix of generations in the crowd, and that showed in what people wore.
Walking through the park felt easy and relaxed. Bright colors, vintage band tees, loose button-ups, and plenty of baggy fits. Some people leaned into that retro feel, almost matching the era of the bands, while others kept it simple with shorts, sneakers, and sunglasses. It didn’t feel curated. It felt natural.
There were also moments of bold style. Patterns, accessories, and outfits that stood out without trying too hard. Right next to them, you’d see something traditional or casual, and somehow it all worked together.
The weather played its part too. Warm sun during the day, cooler air later, so people layered up in their own way.
In the end, the crowd became part of the festival. Not just watching the show, but shaping how it looked and felt.
Thank you so much to all the incredible people who smiled for our camera!
