San Antonio, clear your calendar. La Semana Alegre is back April 23–24, 2026, at Hemisfair, and this year’s lineup proves the Party in the Park isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Two nights. Two stages. A collision of ‘80s nostalgia, indie cool, Latin groove, electronic pulse, and hometown pride.
Leading the charge are new wave legends Men Without Hats, ready to have the entire lawn dancing (safely, of course), alongside Austin electronic-rock favorites Ghostland Observatory, whose neon-drenched live sets feel built for spring nights under the city skyline.
The throwback energy runs strong with Bow Wow Wow, yes, the “I Want Candy!” hitmakers, and Animotion, bringing the unmistakable anthem “Obsession” back to life.
But La Semana Alegre isn’t just about nostalgia. San Antonio’s own Girl in a Coma return to remind everyone why they’re hometown heroes, while La Santa Cecilia deliver their Grammy-winning fusion of cumbia, rock, and soul. Rising acts like 54 Ultra and Mexico City’s explosive marimba-punk collective Son Rompe Pera round out a lineup that refuses to stay in one lane.
