We had to wait 2 years for this show to happen after covid-19 hit our lives, but, every second of the 2.5hrs the show lasted last night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX compensated the long wait!

There’s no doubt the music industry was really hurt because of the virus, but, this kind of concert  with the quality and amazing production is definitely probing the bands are coming back stronger than ever.

Roger Waters - A living legend!

It was 8:30pm when the lights went down and a message on the big Cross-Shape 650 Sq M Leyard LED screen suspended above the stage showed “If you’re one of those “I love Pink Floyd, but I can’t stand Roger’s politics” people… you might do well to f^$# off to the bar right now.” to what people responded with a big laugh and started clapping.

Roger and his amazing band started the night with “Comfortably Numb“,  “The Happiest Days of Our Lives” and “Another Brick in the Wall” letting everyone knows what a great was coming ahead.

Loyal fans in Dallas show!

In a sold out show, the American Airlines Center was at its full capacity. While Walter’s was walking from one side to another on stage, he took a minute to thank the people who bought the tickets back in January 2020 and kept them without asking for a refund not knowing what was happening in the future. With a big yell “Thank you!” he continued the show.

The show advanced with “Wish You Were Here“, “Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX)” with old images on the big screen of former bandmate Syd Barrett, followed by “Sheep” while a big Sheep-Drone flew around the arena.

With these songs, the first set concluded and an intermission of around 15mins took place.

Second Set

The band came back on stage with “In the Flesh“, “Run Like Hell” and “Déjà Vu“.

With a crowd that didn’t stop singing along with the band the whole night, the show was magical and intense.

Money“, “Us and Them” were part of the second set before Roger and band walked around the stage while still playing to say goodbye. They walked down the stage and finish the last song backstage.
