A tour of pure euphoria!
Tonight marked the conclusion of the North American tour featuring Café Tacvba and Caifanes, which visited some of the major cities across the country. The tour was a spectacular journey through the vibrant world of Latin rock, and fans were left mesmerized by the unforgettable performances of these two iconic bands.
Fans from across the country gathered in every town, eager to witness this historic collaboration. On each of the 20 nights, the energy was palpable, and the excitement was infectious as these icons took the stage together for the first time. The tour promised an unforgettable experience, and it delivered beyond expectations, with each performance turning into a celebration of music, culture, and community.
As we reflect on this incredible experience, we can only hope that Café Tacvba and Caifanes join forces again in the future, bringing their unparalleled artistry and electrifying presence to even more audiences around the world.
We had the opportunity to see them at the Same’s Auto Arena in Laredo, TX and the experience was fantastic! An opportunity we could not miss.
CAFÉ TACVBA
Café Tacvba’s set was a dynamic explosion of creativity and passion. The band’s eclectic style and innovative approach to music were on full display, with each song showcasing their ability to blend traditional Mexican sounds with modern rock elements. Hits like “María”, “Como Te Extraño” and “Futuro” had the audience singing along with fervor, while deeper cuts demonstrated the band’s versatility and depth.
Rubén Albarrán’s charismatic stage presence and engaging interactions with the crowd created an intimate and exhilarating atmosphere, while brothers Joselo and Quique Rangel, together with Meme Del Real brought an electric synergy, and their performance was a testament to their enduring influence and artistry. On stage, they are accompanied by Ramiro Del Real on guitar and Luis Ledezma on drums, who bring an added layer of depth and energy to their performance. Every note, every beat, resonated with the audience, leaving them in awe and craving more.
One of the highlights of the night was having Saúl Hernández from Caifanes on stage to join Meme del Real and sing “Eres.” No one saw that coming and cheers and screams invaded the venue. Their show continued with other great songs such as “Las Flores”, “El Baile Y El Salón” and a new version of “Ingrato.”

CAIFANES
Caifanes brought their signature intensity and poetic lyricism to the stage, captivating the audience from the first chord. The band’s haunting melodies and profound lyrics struck a deep chord with fans, old and new alike. Classics like “Los Diones Ocultos”, “No Dejes Que”, “Miedo” and “Afuera” were met with roaring approval, while newer songs seamlessly integrated into their set, proving their timeless appeal.
Saúl Hernández’s soulful voice and emotive delivery brought a raw, emotional edge to their performance, making each song a powerful experience. The rest of the band with Diego Herrera, Alfonso André, Marco Rentería, and Rodrigo Baills was impeccable, with intricate guitar riffs and driving rhythms that created a mesmerizing soundscape. They also had a guest on stage, Meme Del Real, who sang their song “Viento” adding his special voice style to this iconic song.
Caifanes’ performance was not just a concert but a profound musical journey that left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

The cherry on the cafe was definitely seeing all the members of both bands together on stage playing the song “Pachuco” of another great Mexican Band, La Maldita Vecindad.
Everyone in the audience was on their feet singing and dancing along with these two great bands that delivered an impressive performance.
