A few days ago, Noel Gallagher used social media showing just a date and time 31.10.22 8.30AM (GMT) and asking to tune in.
Well, the wait is over and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are back with new single “Pretty Boy”. The track was recorded at the musician’s own London studio and co-produced with Paul “Strangeboy” Stacey, and it features guitar-playing from Johnny Marr (The Smiths, The The, Modest Mouse, The Pretenders, Electronic, The Cribs) who’s also celebrating his birthday today.
This will be part of their very anticipated new album that’s due out on 2023.
For this new record it was the first thing I wrote, the first thing I demoed and the first thing I finished, so it’s only right that it’s the first thing people get to hear. Massive shout out to my mainest man Johnny Marr for taking it somewhere special. NG
