Weekend 2 - Day 3

A band we were able to enjoy early in the day was The Breeders. They brought their alternative rock sound to a more mature audience. The ‘90s alternative rock band played many of their classic hits, but with “Cannonball” the crowd went wild!

From there we ran to catch the acts of Irish singer Hozier. His performance showcased his incredible vocal range and lyrical depth. Definitely the highlight was when he performed “Take Me to Church”. It was a magical moment. Hozier is a real true artist and a great performer.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs with the incredible Karen O owned the stage with her electrifying charisma. The crowd went wild with every riff, beat and scream. Karen was a force of nature, Nick Zinner shredded his guitar and Brian Chase pounded the drums.

Cigarettes After Sex’s dreamy performance at ACL 2023 was a captivating journey through their signature ambient soundscapes. Ethereal vocals and melancholic melodies washed over the audience, creating a serene atmosphere. They have a huge amount of fans who got to the Miller Lite stage early to get a better spot to enjoy the band.

Labrinth, on the other hand, delivered an electrifying set that had the crowd on their feet. His dynamic stage presence and genre-blurring tracks fused R&B, electronic, and pop, making it impossible not to dance. Both acts showcased their unique styles,

ODESZA & MUMFORD AND SONS

Odesza took the stage as the night’s centerpiece, and they didn’t disappoint. Their ethereal electronic music was a transcendent experience, with breathtaking visuals that seemed to transport the crowd to another dimension. They included songs such as “Behind The Sun”, “Say My Name”, “Late Night” and “Hopeful”. They also invited different singers on stage to perform a few songs which made the show even better. Their signature blend of soulful melodies and pulsating beats created an atmosphere of pure euphoria, and the audience, and us, danced the night away.

Mumford & Sons followed, bringing their folk-rock brilliance to the forefront. Their emotionally charged lyrics and foot-stomping rhythms resonated deeply with the crowd, uniting them in a collective and heartfelt sing-along. With songs such as “Babel”, “Guiding Light”, “The Cave” and hit “I Will Wait” they pleased the thousands of fans that gathered to see them live. The band’s energy and genuine connection with the audience made their set truly special.
