A night of Rock & Glam!
The Struts’ recent performance at The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, Texas, accompanied by rock band Hot For Crime and the talented Mac Saturn, was an absolute rock ‘n’ roll spectacle that left the audience exhilarated.
As part of their “Remember The Name” tour that just started this month, last night was the turn to the Alamo City to treat us with their presence, and ohh boy, it was fantastic!
The three bands delivered incredible shows to an audience that was eager to see them live and they didn’t disappoint.
A show with these characteristics couldn’t be missed, so we prepared our gear to bring you some images and tell you a little bit about what we experienced.
HOT FOR CRIME
The night kicked off with Los Angeles born ‘n bred band Hot For Crime. Their show was a scorching experience, igniting the stage with a fusion of intense melodies and electrifying energy. The band’s dynamic performance, fueled by passion and raw talent, created an atmosphere that left the audience ready for the following two bands.
MAC SATURN
The second band on the schedule was Mac Saturn, whose dynamic stage presence and gritty vocals set the perfect tone for the evening. His soulful performance resonated with the crowd, showcasing a promising talent in the music scene. Singer Carson Macc knows how to perfectly manage the stage and to be engaged with the crowd. While the rest of the band delivers a show full of great doses of rock. It was the first time we saw them live and we loved them. If you ever get the opportunity to see them, do it, you’re going to love them!
THE STRUTS
As The Struts took the stage at 9:02, the energy in the venue skyrocketed. Frontman Luke Spiller commanded the stage with a magnetic presence, channeling the spirit of classic rock legends. The band’s setlist was a rollercoaster of anthems, including hits like “Dirty Sexy”, “Body Talks”, “Strange Days” and “Could Have Been Me.” Each song was a powerhouse performance, and the crowd responded with unbridled enthusiasm, singing along and dancing.
The Struts’ musicianship was on full display, with guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies forming a tight-knit ensemble that flawlessly complemented Spiller’s soaring vocals. The stage production was equally impressive, featuring dynamic lighting and visuals that heightened the concert’s electric atmosphere.
Luke Spiller’s interactions with the crowd were charismatic and genuine, creating a sense of camaraderie. He encouraged audience participation, turning the concert into a collective celebration of music and rock ‘n’ roll spirit. The encore was a climactic finale, leaving the crowd buzzing with the infectious energy that defines The Struts’ performances.
The synergy between the three bands made this show a memorable fusion of emerging talent and established rock prowess. It was more than a concert; it was an immersive experience that celebrated the timeless power of rock music. The Struts’ show in San Antonio, Texas, accompanied by Hot The Crime and Mac Saturn, proved that the spirit of rock is alive and well, and its legacy is in capable hands with these talented artists.
