Rock, punk, Y2K, goth and everything in between!
Three days of The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, Twenty One Pilots, Danny Elfman, Turnstile, Blood Orange, Modest Mouse, Wu-Tang Clan and so many other great artists gave us plenty to photograph at Shaky Knees 2026.
But honestly, the stages weren’t the only place worth looking.
Walking around Piedmont Park, the fashion was impossible to miss. There wasn’t one specific Shaky Knees look. Instead, we saw a mix of punk, goth, Y2K, grunge, colorful streetwear, boots, mesh, fishnets, crop tops, sunglassesand plenty of creative combinations.
Some fans clearly dressed around their favorite bands, while others simply went with whatever made them feel good. There were bright colors mixed with all-black outfits, colorful hair, statement accessories and looks that probably wouldn’t make sense anywhere except a music festival.
Every person had a completely different style, from bright orange and pink to darker alternative looks, plaid, boots and bold accessories. That’s what made the fashion at Shaky Knees so much fun to photograph.
No uniform. No rules. Just people showing up, enjoying the music and looking like themselves.
And sometimes, when you turned your camera away from the stage, you found another great shot waiting in the crowd.
